How to request deletion
You can ask us to delete your Grend account and personal data at any time, without needing the app installed.
- Write to soporte@mail.grend.app or use the form below. Write from, or include, the email linked to your account, your name, and the community you belong to, and write "Account deletion request" in the message.
- You can also ask your community's administration, which can remove you and coordinate the request with us.
To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm your identity before deleting data.
We handle verified requests promptly.
What we delete
- Your profile: name, email, and phone.
- Your access to the app and your link to the community and unit.
- Photos you attached to notices.
- The encrypted mathematical template of your face used for attendance control (we do not store face photos), once you leave the community's staff.
- Grend does not store AI assistant conversations. Text sent to OpenAI and Anthropic may be retained by them under their own policies.
What may be retained
Some information belongs to the community's records or must be kept by law. In those cases we keep it only as long as necessary and, where possible, anonymise it or detach it from your identity:
- Notices and package records of a deleted community, which are kept as community records for 5 years for accounting reasons.
- Staff attendance and payroll records, where labour law requires keeping them.
- The community's notices and package records, without data that identifies you where possible.
- Data of a user who leaves the community, which is kept for 6 months (grace period) before their account data is deleted.
- Encrypted database backups: deleted data is purged from them when they rotate.
- Data needed to meet legal obligations or defend claims.
What happens next
Once the request is completed, your account loses access and we will confirm by email. If you need to use Grend again, your community's administration must create a new account.
If you administer a community and want to delete the data of the whole community, write to us with the same email or form.
