Terms
Terms of Service
Terms for using the Grend app and platform for residential communities in Chile.
Last updated: September 28, 2026
Acceptance
These terms govern the use of the Grend mobile app and platform. By using the app you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you disagree, do not use the service.
The service
Grend is a tool for administering residential communities: notices, packages, payment and accounting records, and staff attendance, among other features your community's administration enables.
Available features depend on your assigned role and on what the community has contracted.
Accounts
There is no public sign-up. Your account is created or enabled by your community's administrator. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials private, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use.
Your community may suspend or remove your access, for example if you stop belonging to it.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Grend for unlawful purposes or to harass, deceive, or harm others.
- Do not try to access data or accounts that are not yours, or breach the service's security.
- Do not upload unlawful or offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Do not copy, decompile, or interfere with the app's operation, except as the law allows.
Your content
You are responsible for the content you publish (notices, photos, and more). You authorise us to host and display it within your community solely to provide the service.
When using features involving photos of people, such as attendance control, the community and those operating them must have the legal grounds and authorisations the law requires.
Payments and finance
Grend does not process payments: it does not charge or transfer money. The app only records and displays charge, payment, and accounting information entered or managed by each community's administration. Amounts, deadlines, and rules are set by each community, not by Grend.
Intellectual property
The app, the Grend brand, and its content belong to Grend or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the app under these terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may change or remove features, giving notice where reasonable.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and Grend is not liable for indirect damages or for decisions communities make with the information they manage on the platform. This does not limit the rights Chilean law grants to consumers.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. We may update them; the current version will be published with its date. Continuing to use Grend after a change means you accept it.
